Dan is a Real Estate Accountant at Colmena Group. At Colmena, Dan is focused on providing high-quality and accurate financial records and reporting for our diverse portfolio of real estate assets. Dan also works with our accounting and finance department to assist in many areas related to accounts payable, invoicing, financial reporting, and financial record keeping – ensuring positive company performance, excellence, and accuracy. Dan maintains a full understanding of development projects and property financials for all assets to ensure all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner. 

Prior to joining Colmena, Dan’s accounting experience began in the tax field working as a public accountant for Deloitte in Portland, Oregon. Dan also spent several years working as a tax accountant for local accounting firms. 

Dan is from Salt Lake City originally but calls the Pacific Northwest his second home after living there for many years. Dan has a wife and two young boys, and they enjoy playing together, going to the park, and watching movies.
