The Point is a 600-acre mixed-use development located on state-owned land in Utah, widely recognized as one of the most significant quality-of-life and economic development opportunities in the state’s history. Planned as Utah’s Innovation Community, the project is designed to support innovation, technological advancement, and long-term economic growth through a highly integrated mix of uses, including employment centers, housing, parks, and open space. Vertical development is anticipated to begin in 2026.
Project Brief
This project encompasses approximately 600 acres and is being developed as a large-scale, master-planned innovation district intended to enhance economic opportunity and elevate Utahns’ quality of life. The project will integrate a diverse range of mixed-use components, including commercial, residential, and community-focused spaces, alongside significant parks and open space. Colmena Group is a developing partner on the project with Wadsworth Development Group and Lincoln Property Company, collaborating to deliver a landmark development with statewide impact.
