Braden Shelley is Colmena Group’s Facility Maintenance Technician, where he coordinates and facilitates all necessary functions to keep properties running smoothly. Braden oversees all building access control systems, security, and maintenance of grounds. He works closely with tenants and vendors to ensure all repairs, maintenance and upkeep are completed in a high-quality manner that aligns with his and Colmena’s expectations of assets. 

Braden began landscaping projects at a young age and has exemplary hands-on experience with many different tools, devices and machinery. Throughout and after high school, Braden worked in the landscaping industry creating many gorgeous displays, one of which won Utah’s Beautification Award. 

Before beginning at Colmena, Braden worked for national corporations in tool rental and repairs as well as garden supply and equipment. He gained valuable experience fueled by his lifelong work ethic, earning a position as a Garden and Project Specialist. He then had the opportunity to learn operations of heavy machinery such as: forklift, reach, puller, boom lift, and ski steer. 

Braden loves the outdoors and sports, particularly soccer which he plays on a regular basis. He currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah and enjoys the Utah outdoors with Rylee, his English Shepherd and poodle mix.
